English Premier League

Anybody watching NBC SportsNet coverage of English Premier League football? Pretty awesome to have every single game available to US viewers, either via TV or internet streaming.

I'll usually watch part of the game if I happen to be in front of the TV. Tivo box is set to record all/most of the games too so if I'm pinched for time, will just fast forward and check out the goals/run of play that led up to them...

I love watching soccer and this has been great. I haven't gotten to watch as many games as I have wanted but it has been fun for sure. The game is very different than it is in say the Olympics or the World Cup.

I personally think the quality of the MLS game is very sub-standard when compared to international play and even the Premier League play.

The Galaxy@Quakes finish earlier this summer in MLS was pretty exciting, I'd put that right up there with anything in the EPL

MLS has been around for quite some time. You just have a limited talent pool in that league. They can't compete with the salaries that they pay over in Europe and I doubt that they ever will.
