NLAT Awards Show
#1
Well since all the players in the NLAT Draft are at their full potential already, I can't really do my Overly Premature Draft Evals for this one, so how about instead I hand out some awards?

The "Happy Birthday To Me" Award goes to Anthony/London who got to celebrate his 31st birthday by unwrapping his shiny new Josh Gibson and significantly strengthening his team before they even play a single game under his ownership.

The "Dumpster Diver" Award goes to Ed/Havana for pulling out a treasure in Cool Papa Bell all the way down at #20.

The "Home Field Advantage" Award goes to Max/Amity for passing up on some better overall talent in favor of a player who fits in better at the Sharks' stadium.

The "Shinobi" Award goes to Tony/Calabria who appeared to be AFK before popping out of the shadows at the last minute to nab the first 4-pitch pitcher taken in the draft.

The "I Just Like His Name" Award goes to Greg/Vancouver for picking a player who's position on his team is already occupied by an MLB All-Timer.

The "C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER" award goes to EricR/Cairo for ending the run on pitchers at the end of the top 10.

And lastly the "Devourer of Hope" award goes to Frank/Warsaw for taking the player who from the beginning had been my top "low seed" option, just as I was starting to think there was a chance he could still fall to me at 23.

I think Torriente is going to hit everywhere.  The more I do post-scripts on him, the more I like him.
